i am curently questening myself on ways to convince my mom that for or needs a vintage washer dryer set would be better suited like forexemple in white or almond washer with matching dryer in the pic would be my dream set back when i was a teen in 1988 came close that my family would have the 1988 viking filter flo washer pic 1 of course it was the mini basket model but in the end went with whirlpool then again back in 1993 when my mom and i move and we look at ge appliances but went with an inglis direct drive washer and curent set picture number 4 since 2020 when a ge dishwasher broke after 3 years i have gain a serious mistrust of electronic call me old fashion but my mom tough because of longer wash lengh that the washer was broken it was not and since i am the one doing laundry in the house since its for 2 i wonder whats the point of a lid lock and if something needs to be added and washer as started agitation must wait till the lid unlocks to add item and then when resuming the cycle it triggers adding a bit of water and the sense function even do i adjusted the option i do not know how to explain to my mom that for some cycle 1:30 wash time is normal
