Words of advice. Never use this shipping company. I paid them 6 months ago to ship a Blackstone washer shaft to Australia. The package never left the United States, and now it is "lost"; I have lost both the part and my $48.29.
Originally back in June, they provided me a pre-printed shipping label, from Springfield, Mass., to a warehouse in Inwood, NY. I brought the package to the post office. Sounds easy enough. Fast forward, following the trail of the tracking number, I found the package was delivered from Los Angeles, back to the warehouse in Inwood last week. The post office claims to have delivered the package to the address of I-Pack in Inwood. I called I-Pack, and they claim to have never received it. The post office cannot help me; I-Pack cannot help me; and EasyShip.com cannot help me. So, now a 50+-year-old, unused Blackstone shaft is lost. Apparently, "EasyShip" does not mean "EasyDeliver." |

I’m sorry to hear that. Being in business for myself these days I find that I not only have to do my job but if I expect someone else to do theirs I have to hold their hand and even then it doesn’t always work. It’s very disappointing and really frustrating these days that no one wants to be or is held accountable for their actions. It’s a good thing I am not their boss.

Well, I have always wanted to go to Australia.
FredEx once delivered a new washer motor; it arrived in such bad condition that the shaft would not even turn, and the box looked like it had fell off the truck a couple of times. At least I was then able to sell the motor to the junkyard for a few dollars. |

While we are on the subject I had craters and freighters to give me a shipping quote to ship a vintage TV on eBay. After I bid, won and paid for the item they refused to pick up the item and ship it. They were very rude about it too. I will never use them again! |

Thing about C&F is they are local franchise outfits. Many times have used main C&F website to search if a particular area is covered. With response of "yes" sent request to local C&F for a quote only to be either fobbed off told "we don't service that area".
From what one understands and have heard many local C&F outfits think who they are. If a job is too small or otherwise won't bring them much money for time spent they either will turn it down, or as happened above just not follow-up after giving a firm quote or something. Have only used C&F once, to get my Pfaff ironer shipped from Florida. They fetched, crated the life out of that ironer, then shipped it UPS. Will give them they did provide value for money in terms of packing/crating, transporting item after collection. But it wasn't cheap by any means. |
