May want to check the wiring to the start switch and verify everything is connected, terminals are snugly fitted, and no corrosion or broken wires/terminals. If this checks out....
Take one of your spare 2 speed motors, cradle it on a poofy folded blanket next the original motor (front panel removed, of course), and transfer the wires to the start switch. Advance the the timer to spin and shift the speeds back and forth and see if the problem is fixed. The motor will abruptly jump in the air from the initial starting torque, that's the purpose of the blanket. |
