After a few Manhattans I put both my Vollrath pedestal electric skillet and its tomato sauce in my Miele dishwasher thus staining all interior plastic parts of the dishwasher pink.
What is your fix?
Do not recommend fewer Manhattans. Doesn’t work.

A bleaching agent.  Chlorine or oxygen/peroxide.

Or ignore the pinkness ... functionality of the machine isn't affected.  :-)

Natural bleaching action will take care of it.

Ever notice how a tomato or fruit juice stain on a wooden cutting board eventually fades away?  Just let nature take its course.

Will do.

Not sweating it. I’ll let the stains fade away along with the memory of my I. D. 10T error.

Those with detergent in work wonders for removing the pink tomato stain on DW baskets etc. O throw a few in the cutlery box and leave it for when its run next and pink is nearly gone with no hassle.

I cannot help wonder...

...the mighty, wonderful, top-quality Miele get stained just by some tomato sauce?

Pink Miele

Why this Miele stained with a common error actually surprises me a bit.
However, I do like my Miele in every way regardless. I shall forgive its small sins…
