Pretty much have a dream washer or rather a set sitting in the garage, my Maytag A806 set. Just need to get the lights hooked up and working along with locating a Maytag DE408 auto dry timer and I finally will have a set I’ve been wanting for at least 5 years.

I’d say a vintage Maytag combo washer/dryer in one. That would be cool. Also my vintage Maytags with an upgraded A807 console.

A mid-80's belt drive Whirlpool supreme series with the infinite water level control and push buttons for wash/rinse temp. My aunt had one and I always enjoyed using it, was one of the last belt drive machines ever as I believe she got it in 1985.

I already have a vintage washer that I've always wanted to own. But if I did had to find another or so, probably the GE sets we used to have. One of which was this Filter-Flo from the video.

A 1966-73 Lady Kenmore with a 3-Speed Motor and a Vari-Flex Agitator, and a 1999-2001 Kenmore Elite Catalyst.

And a Speed Queen TC-5 round out my dream three for 2022-2023.

When I bought this house in 1997, I had a GE Filter-Flo, along with a gas dryer that I was using at my rental house.  Then a few years later I got a new set, which I still have: Maytag Neptune Washer with Neptune gas dryer. That set is probably at least 20 years old now, and works fine.

The GE Filter Flo worked OK but the Neptune front loading washer worked even better, and probably saved on water.   Still the Filter-Flo has a certain charm that cannot be denied.

Currently there are 11 washers and dryers here: washer/dryer in the main house, and then the collection of five washers and four dryers in the workshop. Three of those washers are Mieles. I use one of the Mieles for whites.
