Have been watching the 1st year of the show on Roku. There is a gorgeous 1958 Whirlpool washer and dryer in the kitchen, behind where Jeff sits at the table. Have never seen a more beautiful set. So shiny and new. Best looking Whirlpool set I have ever seen. Later years had Lady Kenmores. Can't figure out the brand of refrigerator in these early episodes.

Was that the same Whirlpool set as on the early years of "Dennis the Menace"?

Watch for the appearance, in following seasons, of a WP combo in the kitchen.

Tom, I thought that was an O'Keefe & Merrit Combo. There's one episode where Donna goes off to take care of a relative and Alex and Mary are left to fend for themselves. Dirty dishes end up being put in the combo.

Maybe it was, but you didn't mention it so I thought I would rouse you. Happy New Year.
