i gotta have help again as usual
I put in place one of my lk portable washers to utilize it I put it into spin to make sure it would run It won't spin I lifted the top and used the trouble light to look inside the cabinet The pulley in the left corner of the cabinet is turning and the belt is moving i activated the pressure switch and it agitates Everything seems to operate but the spin I think someone said there is wigwags on these washers I put the other one I have in its place it operates but in spin the agitator is slow to spin with the tub I hope that is not a warning it is going to go out too Well at least my Montgomery Norge washer operates it just squeaks a bit when running |

Your other Kenmore portable sounds like it needs oil added to the transmission since the one one mine was locked up when I brought it home back in 2017. Freed right up when I added some oil in the transmission but will probably have to go through that one at some point since the oil I put in was motor oil which will work for awhile but will just want to go through it just to be sure. Nice thing about the belt drive portables is you can remove the entire cabinet and have access to just about everything.

They're 45 y.o. and still going.
I picked up the stand lid version of that from Goodwill in 1983ish. It was coffee color and had the optional dual temp water valve and temperature switch that plugs into the back where the hoses slide into the machine. It worked fine.

well the 110.74491100 one will not agitate
everything runs and I can rotate the agitator while it is on but it will not catch to agitate on its on the spin runs but it is loud sounding on the other hand the 110.74490100 is working in all modes so we will see if that continues Sean you may be right about the transmission these were gotten as is not refurbished |
