Seeing today's beauty reminded me of strolling with an elderly cousin of my grandmother past a laundromat in the late 60s or early 70s and remarking that it was equipped with Westinghouse tumblers. He replied that they were *Bennett* Westinghouse machines. Fifty years later, I decided to research the history of the name Bennett Westinghouse but the Google machine here and on the general interwebs had nothing.

Is there someone here who can enlighten us on that name?

Is it possible that he said or meant "Bendix-Westinghouse"?
