my Whirlpool Estate washer got it in 1999 still working great, some rust on the lid but I would not trade it for new. Thank You.

I wouldn't either!

Those direct drive Whirlpool-made machines are great washers. I have one myself, bought it used with a few issues last summer, and replaced the worn parts a couple weeks ago. It should last me a good long while now.

There are a few machines I would consider buying new but they're on the more expensive end of things. Best to keep your Estate going if you can.
