hello to all aw member,

i have as daily driver a maytag vmw washer thats going to be 2 years old bough july 21 2021 if i have to use hot or warm water when it mix hot cold water house plumbing starts to bang each other causing the washer to be noisy during main wash fill but if i set it to tap cold water wash cold rinse it do not do that and the condo was built in 1983 could vmw washers have a more powerful fill pressure? plus i also question my self on how long it will last compared to previous washer asking my self if for my mom and my self consider the option of a vintage belt drive inglis washer with matching dryer second and third pic or pic number 4 a direct drive whirlpool washer dryer set if needed to buy new how can i convince my mom even if they are more costly but better quyalaty to consider speed queen model tr7 or the classic tc5 or rumored speculated tc7 if eventualy avalable as well on cnadien marqket?

Install a water hammer arrestor on both the cold and hot lines.
