The timer in my 72 lady k has started falling apart and in trying to find a new timer part #365446 I have come across part 372753. The ads say it’s an updated number but all of them show an extra wire coming from the back. Anyone know if this is the correct replacement and what that extra wire is for?

The 372753 timer is the replacement for the 365446 timer. Being NOS is should have an instruction sheet telling you how to install it.

Great thanks for the confirmation! I’ve ordered it

We'd love to see pics of your machine and set up.  Does it have a sudsaver?

Here’s the setup. No sudsaver.

To the Right of the washer is that a Miele washer ??

They all look superb I like the gap with a cupboard between them gives somewhere to put stuff easier to reach than a shelf when you suffer ducks disease.....:)

That's beautiful. Excellent set up.

Loving the paneling, the metal cabinets, and that radio too.

My aunt bought this set when they built the 1972 house. It had a sudsaver and a matching avocado badged "sears" laundry subs return tub.

If I remember correctly this has the white tub and a gold agitator that the fins can be retracted for a gentler wash?

They look to be in such good condition. You even have both of the console lights working. That's great.

I wish you all the success in updating the timer.

@ozzie

It is a Miele it’s the backup set but was our main set up till I got the kenmores.

@bradfordwhite Thanks it all fits very well together. It does have the variflex. Though it’s a white agitator white tub combo

For future people the spare wire is a common wire for the timer and hooks into the white wire on the black plug
