Kenmore Fabric Master Electric Clothes Dryer on Facebook Marketplace in Danville Illinois $150.00

Description reads: "Used / Good - white dryer works good"

Just this one picture in the ad. I'm curious how these operate, are the buttons under the panel?

My aunt had the same model. The controls are under that flip up door

Thanks, WayupNorth

I figured they were there or maybe sort of inset just under the lip of the door somehow

This is interesting because it's a nice compromise in a classic vintage look with a minimalist type design for people that like that style, the way so many modern electronics and appliances are made with minimal buttons or soulless lcd/led screens to keep things sleek and unobtrusive... I want all those chunky buttons and clicky dials even if they are hidden under a door. haha

There is just the Fabric Master timer and start button under the cover.

The term "Fabric Master" first appeared on the control panel of Frigidaire's Custom Imperial Dryer FDCI58 for 1958. It was the Filtrator model, but there was no auto dry. It disappeared from Frigidaire's line up after that and Kenmore's auto dry system took the name. I do not know what was negotiated.
