hello to all aw members,
in the next few days a plumber will be called in to change replace the washer faucets that hooks the washer for fill to the house pluming old faucets are the original since 1983 and suggested to my mom that we go with faucets with hammer arrstor to avoid pipes banging if washer enters spin or if i have to use for x reason even if i wash in cold water warm or hot the banging of pipes at start of fill when water mix and when fill for main wash is done | ||

They also make inline (thread-on) water hammer arresters, which are simple to install and cost a lot less than a visit from the plumber. We use these on our old machines with fast-closing valves, and they helped quite a bit.
