Here you go, Bob.
Suspect this is either a Code 2 or Code 6 machine, with it having the Philco-Ford oval logo. Hopefully the rubber is good!

There are several videos on Youtube of this washer (in coppertone) washing clothes. The one showing "washing sheets" gives you a close up of the controls. |

I found one at the dump in 1982-looked like it had about a decade of disuse before being dropped off at the dump-I took the motor/pump:had a black turbine type pump atop the motor and kind of a spring vibraton damper hub on the motor pulley. |

Here is the follow up on this story.
I contacted the seller and they responded and told me the machine was for sale. I asked if they could deliver and they said they could later that evening. They did not return my message and the next day said they were having trouble getting their "boys" to deliver it to me. I had offered additional compensation above their asking price for them to deliver to me since it was within 15 miles of me.
Now the listing has been removed and the seller has stopped answering messages.
If someone here got it I'd appreciate if you let us know so we can know that it went to a decent home instead of just wherever.
I have to say in all honesty however that it does make me angry, the way I was treated, particularly since it was close to me and I had cash in hand. A quick view of the sellers facebook profile let me know that they are what we call "white trash" around here... |

Don't get too wound-up. It might have been a POS anyway. The flapper might be down to a nub, or they would have shown the interior. |

There seems to be a lot of sellers that treat people the way you were treated Joe. It’s happened to me multiple times and I’ve read many others here reporting the same treatment. I’m glad you were semi happy with the outcome as most of the time I’m not. This world would be so different today if everyone would treat others the way they would like to be treated.
