Can't help but think "Sequoina" looks like sweet potato pie,IMHO. Hmmm, now I'm Jonesing for sweet potato pie, is it too late to bake one???

The seller is willing to deliver in the Houston area for a nominal fee, wonder how he/she got his/her hands on one of these so soon as the new colors have only just come on the market.

There are several threads over on THS/Laundry Room regarding the new colors. Several people have already placed orders/had their new units delivered,IIRC. Think also some that didn't know about the new colors and just bought other units, went back to Sears to have them exchanged out for a coloured unit.

I guess Sears is catching the color the appliance bug since KitchenAid brought the Colbalt blue refidgerator to the market two or three years ago. It's about time they spruce up the color line since color, no matter what is is makes the world go round!

new colors at Sears

Can you believe Sears is starting a color trend? I got to see the new colors today- Sedona, which is like a burnt orange, Arctic Blue, which is a blue grey, and a third color , which I did'nt catch the name of that resembles champagne. Not bad- they were on the front loaders. I did'nt go down to the appl. dept to check out anything else, these were at the 2nd floor enterance to the mall
But yeah! something different than white, black or almond

I think the brightly-colored Macintoshes have finally made their mark on the appliance world. It's taken a few years, but that's the product development cycle for you.

Personally I would love to see the old pastel enamels, light green, turquoise, yellow, pink, light blue, etc. Hey, if Apple started making computers in those colors...! (Hmm, prediction for the new $500 Mac Minis: next year's model comes in mid-20th Century pastels!)

Neat but----

I would be leary of this one-the machine has suffered serious shipping-handling damage-Sears is reknowned for this-wonder about how this will function and how the damage has affected the long term of this machines mechanism. I would NOT pay the $975 or $1075 prices on this item!!Its a beautiful machine though-like the color trend-better than the Casket Grey,Black and white offered by others.

Sears

I tend to watch NBC in the am. This morning they did run the Sears commercial for these and they showed all the colors. The lady did ram an armful of clothes into the sedona/ copper colored one. The new colors really are nice IMHO. alr2903

I stopped into Sears last Tuesday afternoon to see the new colors and drool over the pretty Craftsman tools. A friend of mine that I used to work with at the store was there and had just moved into "white goods" a few weeks ago. We looked at the new colors and she gushed on and on about how many "special order" colors there were too. We had a peek at the book hanging on the side of one machine and she thought the paint charts illustrated in the book were optional, special order colors! She quickly figured out that was incorrect and wondered aloud if the lady she had told this to - who'd fallen in love with a very light blue from the book, would be back... Oops.

Uhhhh........

Wow.... for those that have not seen it, the book in reference shows several colors of paint to DO YOUR LAUNDRY ROOM IN (ha ha ha) that goes with the new colors NOT other colors to order the product in. Whoops is right.
