I just started getting water intake errors on my WXR860. It only happens when I use delay start on a cycle that has a prewash. The error happens about a minute or so after the cycle starts. I have used delay start many times with cycles that had a prewash and never had an issue.

Has anyone else had this issue or know if Miele pushed out an update in the last few weeks?

That very much sounds like the extension of the water intake debacle that was discussed a bit ago.

I would let Miele know at least. It will probably take a few months until they would issue a software update - and there isn't much you can do besides waiting for an update that fixes it.

It's not unusual for software issues to get "fixed" only to be rediscovered in more edge cases.

Just sucks that a brand like Miele has these issues.

Thanks Henrik. I'll let Miele know of the issue. Everything else seems to be working fine.

David, I thought you'd seen a similar thread on gardenweb.

Yes, Bob I did. Folks would get the same error after the prewash was completed. My error is happening about a minute into the prewash and only when I use delay start. I'm thankful that's the only time it happens because I use prewash all the time.
