Sounds like the air vent for the drain is clogged and/or the hoses connecting it |

Thanks for all the help.....The shocks are in dire need of replacement and I guessed id need to take hoses apart... so I can kill 2 birds with one stone! (Not sure of the frequency - apologies) Thanks for all the replies!! Really Appreciate it! |

Morning Harrison, you just worked out your own theory !!
On these models when the shocks are worn the bottom of the drum vibrates up and down too fast for the water to escape completely through the Detergent Recovery nozzle , so air is being drawn into it which before the water has had chance to escape, computer thinks sump is empty and proceeds to spin and so water / sudz lock begins. Change the shocks and it should sort itself straight away , the other thing you can do is when next changing the sump hose remove the floating white plastic ball from the plastic fixture (keep the fixture in place for the integrity of the sump hose wand water exiting ) so the water flows through the sump with greater force, if you place the powder onto the clothes water has filled the sump so no detergent loss etc, a few members spoke of doing this and it works etc |

Frequency? - A Google search reveals that Empingham and Stamford are in the UK, so are 230V 50HZ. |
