This is a rare transitional model with the new control panel but still with the original door. The style of the door window changed in the late 60s to a round window with pebbly glass--essentially no longer a see thru widow.

If you go to this link and tab almost all the way to the bottom, there is a 40 inch Kenmore double oven range in what looks like very good shape from the mid to late 50s. It's located in Mebane, NC which is where the White Furniture Company used to be located.

This was a very popular machine, but is Tom mentioned in 69 they switched to a different door which had a round window which you could see through but in 70 they changed to a Pebley glass window that you could not see through so they were a lot a little changes made over the years.

John.
