Thanks for posting this video about Hotpoint! It was enjoyable to watch. BTW, did you notice that in the workshop where the electric stove was being developed that it was lit by a gaslight?

That 1940 Hotpoint electric kitchen would be a workable kitchen even today. Also, did you notice that the cover on the deep well cooker of the Hotpoint electric stove had a thermometer on top of the lid? I’ve never seen one like that before.

Eddie, I'm glad you enjoyed it. Didn't catch that the workshop had gas lights; watched on my phone, so missed some details. I agree that the kitchen would be suitable today. That's an interesting idea to have a thermometer on the deep well lid. I've seen several late 40's Hotpoint ranges in person, but none that early.
