With the issue of the dishwasher and now the vintage washer giving me a headache, we got out of the house and checked out some vintage stores in Red Bank. Well I found an item new in the box that had to come home with us. I never have seen this small GE appliance and it seems to work well. We are going to do fondue in it this weekend and it should be fun. Enjoy

The idea was to "decentralize" cooking and make the whole family part of the experience by frying bacon and making pancakes right at the kitchen table as depicted in advertising at the time.
Never mind dodging the bacon grease spatters and Jimmy hooking his foot in the griddle cord and sending breakfast crashing to the floor while jumping up to get the phone. |
