Grandparents had this dryer in gas from new until 2002 when it was replaced with a new GE. I should’ve repaired the speed queen but they wanted a new one. The GE is still going today without a single repair although it’s seldom used these days. They had the matching washer but hated it because they kept having to dig things out of the pump. It was replaced around 1980 with a Maytag A110.
