Okay - as promised I just took a video of our TL washer/dryer.

It shows two large bath towels being rinsed, spun at 1000 rpm and dried - all with the lid open of course! :-)

Alex :)

GREAT!

I'm speechless indeed!!!

I found the other three videos some days ago...but this one is the best!

My eyes start twisting just when I see a washer, then that's a TL and its a combo w/d too!!!!!

The Privilege brand I knew was Frech...isn't it? There in France there's really a culture of the TL, they've got anything TL, I mean TLHA, washers, dryers, and combo as well!

Don't mind US folks when you complain that in a EuroTL you can't assit to the tumbilng show we washer's lovers all want to look at! Here you are the proof that it is ANYWAY possible...

And as many other times I said even if you cannot see in it washing you can hear...and Alex could say that machine is noisy indeed!!!

BYE!
Diomede

PS:Equator has presented in April 2006 the most rivolutionary machine I've never known merchandized in US... a Top loading, with horizontal axis COMBO washer/dryer... Hear it soon!

Very nice....reminds me of my aunt's Blomberg (no dryer though!)

Hmm.. Privileg is kind of like Germany's Kenmore - they buy their appliances from several different manufacturers. Our frontload washer for example is made by Electrolux and so is the dryer. Our dishwasher is made by AEG. Still all these appliances are labeled "Privileg".

This TL could indeed have been built by Blomberg - I know Privileg sells a TL dryer made by Blomberg.

As far as noise: yeah - this one is definitely louder than our FL washer. Of course, it's not as noisy if you keep the lid(s) closed. Also, you avoid getting DRENCHED when the splashy spin cycle starts... ;-)

Great video Alex! It's a fun machine to play with. It could be that this machine was made by Thomson Brandt. A friend of mine had an older model, same sounds.

:) Thanks.

Yeah - I guess it's a fun machine to play with but there's just something about being able to pull sheets and large towels out of a large FL drum opening without almost lifting the entire washer... ;)

Nice machine you got there. It has a nice motor sound. personally i too like flīs best. Cool trick you did with the "lock".

I,m quite sure the machine is made in France by Thomson Brandt
In sweden sold as Bauknecht (if i,m not mistaken)

In closing gotta say goodluck to you if the drum collapse. Its almost impossible getting out the drum in these machines. When i recycled one, i had to smash the whole plastic outer tub before i could remove the drum.

Fredrik,

Bauknecht and Thomson Brandt are not the same machines. Thomson Brandt is sold as Brandt nowadays, is Brandt available in Sweden? Brandt machines also might be sold as Blomberg in Sweden. Bauknecht is owned by the Whirlpool company, so a competitor to Brandt.

Superb video, thanks logixx. I liked the bottle of pink softener (Vernel?) dancing on the spin cycle. I would say that is a Brandt made machine too.

Nick
