Hi everyone. I’m having some trouble with the base of my direct drives two piece agitator, I need a new one for mine because one of the two tabs inside the post of the agitator base busted and the cam assembly will not lock down the upper auger piece causing it to wobble and skip a lot during agitation and it will dump alot of my sanitizer that I use, It’s very annoying. Mine has the high stem base, but it’s tough to find others the same used. Most of them are shorter stem. If I bought the shorter stem base, then I would need the correct cam assembly kit for it and to be also sure it’s not for a Kenmore as there are differences in those posts. What is the best route to go with this considering I don’t need the whole agitator? Is there a way to fix this without replacing the base? I have a newer cam assembly and the original that had no o ring on it and neither of them will snap down due to the busted tab. Any help is appreciated….thanks.
