Awesome pictures, thanks for sharing! And I agree...that Surgilator tackles a big load like it's nothin'! On your machine, do you have the winged or non-winged Super Surgilator? |

do-dads--I'll do some close-ups for you on the next roll of film and copy the # bearpete--you made me laugh hard. It's just a large face cloth, and I got it at TJ Max--a discount store. Funnier, I had to figure out what you were talking about--didn't see it westy--it's the wingless one. I don't care for that winged monstrosity's tendency to impede turn-over goldport--it's like the Kenmore visa-matic, probably came out at the same time--wonder who was 1st hoove--just thought of you when a comment to Frigi came out funny on Beautiful Day thread. Go see gdansk--finally! couldn't believe after the flick and the pix no one noticed. You're a sharpie. Guess when i took the lid off. frigi--king of good will to all--what a gift to us, you christmas angel |

Kelly, in a recent thread which i can't find, I pixed the agitator sloshing at a very low water level in a tub layered with suds. The Agi is short and squat with four big paddles, giant holes in the planes between, and vertical slots, identical methinks to the really early automatic one. Wish i could find the thread. Geoff, Merry Christmas, Man, I so envy you your Operators Manuals, and high water levels. Never seen or read them and had no idea you could fill the Tags so high. You want more splashing fun. After a clear rinse, drain your Buddy with the agitator going. "Oh what fun it is to ride a splasing Tag tonight !!" Would it be possible for you to email me a few of the most interesting pages from the manual. Scott, So sorry: I missed you in there. Yes, I love the open wringing better, especially because once in a while an item curls around instead of dropping down. With the closed wringer, you get a huge wind-up and grunt, but with the open wringer you see it coming around and can knock it off and prevent wringer constipation. |

Can't wait to go to email Here's a laugh for you: I have never filled beyond the small hole in the agitator because I thought water would get into the bowels of the machine and ruin it !!! Also, you're not supposed to fill an Easy beyond the giant screws near the top of the tub, so i just guessed it was the same for the Maytag. Can't wait to max out the fill; it'll be a firsrt. Thank You so much for teaching me. Yes, Geoff, I"ll always be washing or working the washers. Even yesterday, with all I had to do, the sun finally came out, so I washed 4 sheets-in-waiting, hung them out on the deck, and of course they were still swaying gently when the guests arrived. Yes people, I washed on Christmas Day. Wonder how many other AWORG friends did. Now for that wonderful email...I'm so excited. Thank you so very much, Geoff! |
