A while back, there was a thread on these Maytag portable dryers. I had just trashed two of these items, although I did get $5 for one of them. If this link works, take a look at this "deal," listed on the western Mass. Craigslist. They didn't originally sell for that much, either, did they? Anyone even considering one of these units, should look through Sear's parts online parts department to check availability of spares. Last time one checked most were NLA or very low stock. Personally do not see much about either the Maytag, or Hoover small dryers to warrant the prices some seem willing to pay. When one comes down to it unless the laundry is very well extracted, one is going to be looking at some long drying times. Worse yet, these unvented units will spew lint and heat inside the room, NOT the best thing. L. |
