From the Costco Canada website. I'm unaware of Hamilton Beach manufacturing residential stoves. Interestingly HB is the designer, creator in an agreement with Wolf for their Wolf branded counter top appliances. So could this stove actually Wolf in HB clothing?

Who knows there’s too many stainless steel so-called professional ranges out there to keep track of some of them are made in China. It’s probably not a major maker from the US at least almost all professional ranges or junk. They usually don’t bake worth a damn. They take too long to preheat, when consumer reports tested them a couple years ago, the Meile. Bosch, Thermidor decor and several others. None of them had a good oven.
Buy at your own risk, definitely get a moneyback guarantee before you buy. Which would be the good thing about buying it from Costco because they will stand behind it for a while at least. John. |

Oven control panel has an Electrolux/Frigidaire vibe with the functions on the left and the 10-key number pad on the right flanking the clock/timer with a separate temperature display.
Identical in appearance and layout to the Rangaire 30-inch gas range. Can't find anything about where it's made and the "About us" section uses the usual vague references to design and engineering but nothing about country of origin. There are scads of "labelers" slapping names (old and made-up) on Chinese-made appliances...in redoing our kitchen out in Palm Springs we had options of vendors such as "Empava" "Thor" "Sharp" not to mention the private labels like Hisense or Blomberg (which at least have some level of design competence from Europe). They clearly come from a single sheet metal factory somewhere in the wilds of China and really have little to recommend them except for price. If you think the Korean vendors are tough to secure service....just wait!
