I have a 1962 Frigidaire Model FPI-14T-62 that has worked wonderful until now. The freezer frosted up bad, so I unplugged it to let it dethaw and clean it out. Now when I plug it back in, I can hear the compressor run, and the plate in the bottom part of freezer is getting cold, but the evaporator fan in the back of the freezer is not running, therefore not throwing cold air into freezer or refrigerator. When I manually turn the fan by hand there is a squeak noise, so I suspect the motor is bad. When I removed the motor, the only writing I find on it is OLSEN E33749 Mod.932 GEM Prod. Inc. Garden Grove, CA. I have tried to search out that company and model number with no luck. Can anyone tell me the part number of the motor that I need? Can anyone tell me where I can purchase one?

That's a GEMLINE motor, a replacement for the original. I don't believe they are in business any more.

that motor is a replacement of original-the original motor was probably Howard Industries.Mounting, with those 4 rubber pucks,is a little odd,but still should be easy to find a motor that will work-field coil is burnt on the subject motor.Olsen fan motors very similar to the one pictured were used in a lot of "WCI"-Kelvinator,Gibson,White-Westinghouse,etc refrigerators ~1970s-1990s.
