Hi all, ive been coming on this site for at least 4 years, and i have finally signed up. Well, all i can say is WOW! This site rocks. I really thought us `washer' freaks where all but just a myth. WEll, a quick bit about me, im a member of the yahoo twin tub groups (Jared5739). Im 27, and have stated getting into american top loader washers, wish we had as many types here in the UK. Ive had quite a few twin tub washers, but i'd love a top loader, even a modern Whirlpool, quite aplenty over here, used them when i worked in hotels in London, great machines, quick and efficient. Whats with the `new' top loaders with a small pulsator in the bottom of the tub? I mean ive seen them in action on YouTube, they look like there is hardly enough water in the tub, dont they wear clothes bad as the clothes harldy seem to move! Love Unimatics pics and movies, that man is God i tell ya, Hashem himself! LOL! Check out profile for washers ive had, but i REALLY want to get rid of the Thomson twin tub i have at the moment, bought it new last year, good washer, but there is no heater and i need to boil chef whites, anyone want this machine for a cheap price? Just been looking at those Wascomat machines on thread, they look EXACTLY like the Rex machines used in many laundrettes here in the UK, similar to the Viking machines too, any similarities in the companies that made em? Well so many questions to ask, so little time. Can anyone tell me the difference (apart from agitator shape) in the Unimatic/Pulsamatics? I was gobsmacked when i first saw them machines in action here on this site, great rollover, shame i couldnt trip the switch on the Whirpool Commercial machines we had in the London hotels, they seem to agitate fast. Anyways, bys for now, be back chatting VERY soon. Thanx, Andi x x p.s belated Hanukkah/Xmas wishes and a happy new year to all.

Dear Sudzreturn, Welcome and Happy New Year to you. Since the Thomson washer has no heater, do you have to increase the temperature of your domestic hot water before washing whites?
Shavua Tov,
Tom
