Re: Disposal/Dishwasher Connection:

Hi! Scott, is this a complete new Installation of both the Dishwasher and the Disposal? If it is, the Disposals have a "knock-out" that you use a Hammer and Screwdriver to pop the knock-out with. It is best to do this, before the Disposal is installed into the Sink, but if you are able to reach the opening Port easily enough, you can do it with the Disposal installed. It would also be best if the Disposal is installed, for someone to hold it from wobbling around, so you don't break any Plumbing connections from the Sink to the Disposal, or have it come disconnected from the Sink Collar.

Good Luck Scott, I hope that this helps you to get the Dishwasher and Disposal operating properly and soon. It shouldn't really take too long to do the complete Installation, once you get the knock-out taken care of and you have the proper Fittings for the Dishwasher Water Line connection.

Peace and Cheers, Steve
