Expect looooots of rust and mold on these machines.

Dryer next to the Maytag washer

Looks like an old Norge, you can tell by the door hinges and the profile of the toe plate where the lint filter is.

Sometimes these machines that look really dirty and rough have wonderful parts inside sometimes they’re complete basket cases. More investigation needs to be done

With machines this old many times they’ve sat for 30 years or more without being used at all sometimes it’s surprising how good they are inside.

John, could that Norge dryer be as far back as being a Timeline? The panel looks like it's fully vertical and not slanted at all

Hi Bob, maybe I can’t really tell what the control panel looks like, but it does look like an older one.

The Maytag A606 set I picked up nearly 5 years definitely sat a good 20 years since the timer was quite stiff. Spared the machine since it was quite minty. Think that’s one of the nicest machines out of all the ones I own in terms of overall condition.

There's a knob visible on the dryer in this other photo ... assuming that's the dryer at left of the washer.
