Check eBay. Several options for the 901111 door spring kit.
The top flange piece may be a bit more tricky to find (PN 901295 kit, 911940 flange). Nothing on eBay and most parts houses don't have it in stock. This could be an instance where a parts dishwasher is needed if you need to replace the flange. Ben |

Are the nylon inserts still in good shape? The 9-1862 aux spring would have been used if a heavy cabinet panel was added to the front. Unless you've got some boulders living in the door the single spring should work fine. Quite possible they've gotten weak or the hole positioning for the bottom of the springs themselves needs to be looked at.

Further followup: the auxiliary door spring arrived a week ago so I threw it in, and that finally solved the door falling open problem. Glad for this odyssey to finally come to a close. |
