1956 Frigidaire Imperial French Door 30" electric stove
[Down to Last]

I have been looking for the elusive french door, some call it dutch door, 1956 Frigidaire Imperial 30" electric stove/range. I have found a few only to have the seller decide to keep it last minute before my planned 8.5 hr drive or have it bought out from under me by another person before I could get there. I'm not a reseller, I want this stove for myself to use, like forever. I'd like a white one but if I can find a pink one, or the blue, gray, or yellow one in good shape on the outsid3 that'd be great. I can work on little things that may need fixinging internally. Please let me know if any of y'all run across one or have one you'd be willing to sell. P.s., I'm not rich so not looking to buy one at some exorbitant price. Lol
Thanks so much,
Lisa in Tennessee

Thank you!

I'd love to find a 1956 one but that is great! I'm working with him and have a shipment up for bid on Uship. Hopefully it all works out. Thanks again for finding this.

Foiled again :(

While I was trying to arrange a shipper through Uship, he accepted an offer to buy it from someone who "saw it sitting on his porch" So disheartening. If anyone sees one of these please let me know. 🙏

Found my Frigidaire Imperial 30" !!!

Finally scored. It was in Iowa but I finally found someone willing to wait and my uncle picked it up for me last weekend. I'll have to drive to his place to get it & bring it back to TN but she's mine! So excited!!!!

Wow, that looks like it’s in terrific shape, I think you lucked out. It’s gotta be in better shape than the other one in any event.

It looks like the sensor for the right front burner is missing hopefully if it was properly converted to a regular element that will be less trouble Going forward. Wonder if the Speed heat burner was also converted to a regular one?

Enjoy using a high quality piece of equipment that doesn't have touch screens and control boards to die.
