First of all, this is almost never necessary unless it’s torn you can merely adjust the latch if it leaks a little bit.
That said I usually would drop the gasket in a pot of boiling water to soften it up. Then take the outer door panels off the dishwasher so that you can get to the back of the tabs and put a little bit of soap on the dishwasher door liquid dishwasher soap that is And then just pop the tabs through and you can pull a little bit from the outside if you need to with a needle nose pliers. The gasket in the video did not need changing. They’re just slobs to let it get that dirty. I’d hate to see the way. The dishes came out of that dishwasher if the door seal gets black and moldy.
