That Westingouse dishwasher model was in two different hou9ses on the street I grew up on, houses were built spring 1961. Cycle sequence was purge main wash, and two rinses and dry, The red horizontal toggle switch was for turning on or off the hot water booster for the wash and the final (2nd) rinse,

Westinghouse rollout dishwashers
The one for sale is the early 60s model, Westinghouse was the last to continue making rollout dishwashers. They still have them available in 65,66 maybe even 67. They continued to build them after they introduced their much better performing drop door models however, the rollout ones were much more reliable.

That is the one I had in Greenbelt where I glued heavy padding to the tub and the outer cabinet to deaden sound. It has the plain front with the small dial in the upper corner. | ||
