what if speed queen decided to buy from whirlpool the maytag appliance branch washers dryers ect i wonder how they would look like they would be of better quality thats for sure and maybe made to lass longer as exemple using a google pic of the maytag mvw6230hw washer how would this model look like speed queen version?

ALS would never buy Whirlpool, they're only in the business making laundry products and they already own plenty of brands. There could be a possible lease agreement (highly doubt it) if Whirlpool sold off both Maytag and Amana to a different company, and that new company would reach out to ALS of making machines for both Maytag and Amana again. However, I'm sure they'd not be the same as the old ones. Using electronics, possibly a perfect wash design, etc.

Like Panasonicvac said, if, IF ALS somehow buys Maytag (and Amana), it would purely be for the patents and IP.
ALS is totally all in on the Speed Queen name, especially since they’re making more inroads in residential. At most, they would rebadge a few TC or TR units with the Maytag logo. But I still see that as a stretch. | ||
