It might be easier to turn a KD-17 into a portable than many other brands/models. The 17 has a very sturdy chassis that could be easy to sheath in sheet metal (stainless would be nice) or even wood. The drain water connection would have to be handled with an aftermarket hookup for sink faucet, and these are available as replacement parts for various dishwashers and washers over the internet or from parts stores. Still, it might be easier to look for a machine that was designed as a portable from the get-go. |

FYI: Those spots in the bottom are not rust, but rather grease stains... I cleaned them up today |
