The 1962 Westinghouse slant front coin op laundromat arrived today at my new home in Tucson, Az. It is in mint condition but will be a while before I can hook it up. First have to do plumbing in garage, get electric work done, then install hot water heater. It should be up and running in a month or so but it sure looks good. It travelled from Long Island to Tucson.

1962 Westinghouse Coin Op Laundromat:

Hey! Ross, I'm glad to hear that your Westy arrived all right. Be sure to let us know when it is operable and how it does with cleanability. Maybe you can post some pix's of it and your other machines when they are installed and operating.

Peace and Happiness, Steve

Congradulations Ross on the new machine. I remember these machines in local laundromats growing up. They were a blast to watch and listen to. Enjoy!!!

2nd water heater

So you have to install another water heater? Not possible to just run a hot water line from the present system to the garage? Or is it because the garage is detached?

Quarters?

Probably nickels and dimes in 1962.
