I'd mentioned this in my message in the thread about the pink Westinghouse pair, but wanted to be sure nobody missed it in case they might be interested. A local retro furnishings and clothing shop just got in a Westinghouse pair that I would estimate is about a 1962-63 pair, tail end of the slant-front era. The pair appears to be the budget-priced line and is in good physical shape. However, it has been stored many years in an estate storage unit. There is juice getting to the timer, but the tub doesn't want to turn even being manipulated by hand, and the buttons for the water temp selections don't push too far in. I believe the dryer is a gas model; it has no cord at all but there is a port for the gas line connection. If interested call "Yoshi Now," the name of the store, at 559-485-8142, and speak to either Yoshi or Joy. They'd be happy to know that I referred you, so feel free to "mention my name in Sheboygan," as the old song goes. Or, you can email at yoshinow@sbcglobal.net, and they might be able to provide digital pictures. I have no digital camera or cell phone that takes pictures.
