This is from 1962-63'ish. I had this same dryer in turquoise, matching washer is A700. Here are a couple of pics in a Yahoo album, click "download" for the full size version. The photo before this one is of the washer.

The clothes sprinkler was a round disc that replaced the filter in the back of the drum and used for sprinkling dry items prior to ironing. I never used the one I had for my dryer - still have it but it doesn't fit in the DE906. I think it says to use it on Air Fluff cycle only - bad for the heater with no air flowing through the drum. I always thought it looked like a mess and couldn't imagine how it would get everything evenly sprinkled for ironing. Another gimick...
