This was one of today's finds. And yes, I brought it home with me.

Congratulations! Very interesting...quite a few of these Hydro-Swirl semi-autos seem to be surfacing nowadays (versus someone lying about having one in the Yahoo group). I hope more show up.

Timer on right side. Does anyone have any information about this model? It's also hard to believe that there is a setting for Modern Fabrics!

Thanks Austin. This also came in today. This makes 3 complete sets of Maytag 806's at this place. It's hard for me to believe that everybody talks about wanting a vintage set and these are everywhere but nobody wants them. He can't hold them forever.

Great haul, Rich! You gotta love the Harvest Gold (is that what the color was called?)!

Well ... I've sure looked in this area for vintage Maytag's with not much luck. I don't know if people still have them or they are being "crushed" without the opportunity to save them!

I didn't know the machines were for sale. What do they usually get for an 806 set, AS IS?

Cool stuff Rich - glad to see the skinny Kenmore came home. The center dial piece looks identical to the one used on the 57 Lady K. Glad to see the pushbutton set is slowly on its way home to safey - so glad you scored that set!

Very nice Kenmore I believe their was no tempature control. Years ago I knew poeple that had machines like this that used a single fawcett connection to run these basic washers. Is it in working condition?
I Love the poppy frigidaire Refrig.

Austin look again

appliguy's profile picture
that is not a semi automatic....it is a fully automatic washer. It has a mark on the dial that says fill and the strip on the washer says Kenmore Automaic Washer. I believe Peteski50 is right you adjusted the water temp at the faucet not on the machine. That I believe would make this machine one step up from the Hydro-Swirl.PAT COFFEY

The color of this 906 dryer is referred to and was called
"Harvest Wheat" due to the shawdowing.

Harvest Wheat was the non-shaded version of gold in the later 70's, the shaded was called California Gold.
