I hope I have this right. I'm not finding the thread in which this was brought up. Has it already dropped off? Geeze, lotsa activty on the board!

Anyways, here's a shot of the hidden softener dispenser and the dosage control, which IIRC adjusts variably between a range of zero to 4 oz.

DAMN, I miss my '59 LK. Not thinking that most fabric softeners were thinner back in the day, I filled mine with concentrated Downy and it didn't work right. Had to flush the system and buy an inexpensive jug of old-school Hilex Pink Softener. Worked very well.
