Had a wonderful visit from Don yesterday, we did laundry and played tourist here. Beautiful day.
Unfortunately I had the 1955 Combo apart due to some small niggling little problems which are now repaired. He didn't get to see it in all its washing glory so here ya go Don,enjoy!

Notice the corrected lights everyone else!!! I had installed them backwards in my last photos, when correctly installed they create a "shine down Ed Sullivan Show" effect over the knobs down onto the cabinet.

Jon was the ultimate host, we had a great time as his overnight guests from our trip to Boston and Provincetown. What's better than a room full of Bendix Machines????

Beautiful, Jon! How did you have the lights installed before? In the tub? ;-)

Jon,

That Bendix looks so sophisticated with those lights. I bet Hyacinth wants to come over for a Bendix light supper!

WOW

That combo is a real looker...i would be proud to have that featured in my kitchen. What ever happened to washers/dryers in American kitchens, we now hide everything in a laundry room.

YOU will be slapped!

I had the lights reversed so they were shining into the back cabinet. The only way light was reaching the controls was BLIND LUCK!!
Don, you and Scott come back soon and leave Greg in Omaha!!

Oh well, at least you could see what was going on behind the cabinet then, and it would make it easier to clean back there with your Airway's crevice tool attachment.

Is it your gifted photography, Jon

or are the Bendixes that beautiful?

You're making FL converts every day.

A little panicked: can't find the Bendix pic of the beautiful console with the three pilot lights, a hypnotic blue, an orange-red, and a white (?). The blue reminded me of the second flame on Greg's torch in his Speed Queen Seminar

Hope it hasn't been gutted by a mad director!

Nice restore there Jon, fancy you getting your lights mixed up, too excited to get it going I`m guessing..I bet your water usage is going down using all those Bendixxi`s...

I dare say you`ll be needing a bigger surgical belt moving those monsters around...LOl
