I seen several neptunes with noisy bearings ,due to water getting past the seal. They needed to use a better seal system for the price you pay. I forced grease in the upper hole it helped some.It dosnt bother me much to hear a sound comming from my laundry room that is like going 70 MPH down a gravel road!!!!

Oh my that's a big one you have!

Hello Charles,
OMG that is one huge machine, how tall is it?
I hope you get it sorted.

David

Do you use liquid chlorine bleach in the Neptune(s)?

My Neptune's drum support "spider" cracked after about three years. Repaired at no charge under extended warranty. It made a kind of squeaking noise with heavy loads of bath towels. Repair guy said it was good that I called it in, because if the spider had failed at high rpm spin the destruction would have been rather major...

He put in the new seals when he replaced the drum, but said that the bearings were perfectly fine.
