My Neptune's drum support "spider" cracked after about three years. Repaired at no charge under extended warranty. It made a kind of squeaking noise with heavy loads of bath towels. Repair guy said it was good that I called it in, because if the spider had failed at high rpm spin the destruction would have been rather major... He put in the new seals when he replaced the drum, but said that the bearings were perfectly fine. |
