Hi there. I have a problem with my Elektro-Helios Washing machine. Here´s the fact:

Saturday i washed some shirts and jeans. I was in the living room together with my gf listening to music, when i heard a banging sound. I located the noise to my bathroom.

The washing machine was trying to spin EXTREMLY unblanced. The drum banged and the machine was even doing small jumps on the floor. The dryer above had moved and was almost on the way down. It smelled kinda "hot" from the machine.

I turned of the machine and waited some time. Later i started it again on a separate spin. It started the spin very quickly. I noticed it seemed it wasnt registrate if it was balance or not.

Next day (sunday) i washed some sheets and bathtowels. The machine went totally unbalanced again. However it didnt bang as it did on saturday. I moved the dryer so it sit beside the machine now, i cant risk it falling down.

My questions is: What is going on with the machine? Why does it spin unbalanced? It shouldnt do that.

Could it be the tacho coil/magnet assembly that is attached to the motor shaft, has come adrift, or has a poor connection?

I understand that the way modern machines regulate their speed, is by counting the number of impulses from the said assembly.

Alternatively, maybe the speed controller/PCB has failed components.
