Hi, Pat. The Kasier-Frazier library site is gone from the net, so I'll try to give you some convoluted info from memory. If I remember correctly, the dw's were only produced for a few years in the 1940's (I believe from about 1945-1948 or so). Mine is a DD-1 made August 23, 1947. from what I remember, Henry J. Kaiser had come out with a soap that he was selling at the car dealerships. To move more soap, they developed the dw. Unfortunately, it didn't last. I'll try to post some links.

It appears to have been used, but in very good condition, No dents or anything. I will try to get photos if you are interested. |
