Hobart Kitchen Aid question.....It was acting strange |

Not that it is Friday the 13th or anything, here it goes......I came home after being gone for 12 hours, pretty normal for me.I heard the dishwasher still going.I had started it before I left, and figured that it would be done, I could unload it, go to bed.The strange thing is that all the lights on the front were dark;the motor was running, like it does before it goes to fill, after it drains,etc. I walked over to it;opened the door, re-selected my program, and now it seems fine. It has never done this before. It is the long program, " Pots and Pans, soak and scrub" Or I will use the Santi cycle, maybe even Heavy wash, to kind of mix things up a bit. Is there something a mis with my Kitchen-Aid? Or is it a fluke? My dishwasher is old but good, the guy had it in his basement for over 20 years with a sheet over it.I found it five years ago,I even have the Finish coupon for 10 cents off, and the Energy guide hanging off the inside..... Anyway, what do you think? | ||

It could very well be a "fluke". Maybe the timer got stuck. See what happens in the future. If it occurs again, you may need a new timer, or timer motor. If not, well it really was a fluke. Keep us posted. Luck be with you! | ||
