Hello
Let me guess, the drum is same as old aristons.

It does seem that they've lifted the design from the old ariston drums. At least it doesn't have plastic paddles like so many modern machines.

However, I would say that Haier's reputation's a little 'unpredictable' at best so good luck with the machine!! You'll also be hard pressed to find a repair agent in Ireland for those machines.

If you're on a budget and looking again, perhaps go for an Electrolux, Bosch Classixx or even a Hotpoint (but check reviews first)

Probably another name for 'handwash'.

Hi there Luke

So how are you finding the programmes and things like noise and balancing? I have never seen one of these work so I would be interested to know.

Rob

thanks for the comments, the machine is great all the wash times are rasonable except for the 2:36 min cotton wash as for the noise it only gets a bit loud when it hits 1000rpm as most machines with a universal motor do, its funy it sort of like a mix of all my favorite machines, it has the same drum as my old ariston, when it distributes anti clockwise it sounds like the old hotpoints when it distributes clockwise it sounds like the old hoovers, i love it, and when you push the power button it plays a sound like its saying "hello" and when its finished it playes do ra mi. ha ha. i'l do some vides of it soon.

I think that you will find that Haier either used to or still make some models for Ariston. The basic Ariston we had in Australia was made in China and next thing we knew the Haier brand launched with a similar looking machine....
