There is a 1957 Pink Lady Kenmore washer for sale in Alameda
(Town just south of Oakland, California). The machine is in great condition, missing one knob. You can have it for $50.00.
Call 510-521-4806 or email stephrod@yahoo.com. The washer is being offered on Craigslist, General in San Francisco with a photo of the machine. Any Bay Area collectors interested?
Unfortunately I don't have room.

I checked the Ad out and noticed that it states that the Washer is totally gutted, what gives with that??? {see below in main part of ad}...Makes me think it certainly wouldn't be worth anyone looking into getting that Washer...Maybe someone can piece a Washer together into this Cabinet, if that is true of it being totally gutted...

Peace and Good-Luck, Steve

Can't be too bad...

The water, temp, and timer knobs are there,so the controls have to be in the console. Even if the "guts" are missing... Well... just get an older belt drive machine for parts, and build this one up! That would make one sweet machine! If I lived in CA I would be on it!

1957 Lady Kenmore Washer

I've emailed the person who placed the Craigslist ad to explain what has been gutted and what knob is missing.

reply from seller of 1957 Pinky Lady Kenmore

Just got a response back from the seller of the 1957 Pink Lady Kenmore washer. The washer has been gutted with few parts left except for the shell of the machine. I mentioned that there are collectors of vintage washers and of this website and for her to possibly sell the washer using this site.
