Just a heads up to anyone who may be able to get this good looking set. Price is not too bad, and seems to be complete. Westland is about 20 minutes east of Ann Arbor , and 20 minutes west of Downtown Detroit. For someone who buys it, Westland is a suburb area, low crime and not a bad drive from Indiana, Ohio, Illinois or ever farther. A nice weekend trip could have you this set... I am unable to help store, or buy the machines to hold them. So whomever wants them will have to act quickly. When will you see a set like this again... Only Jimmy S. had a set similar. I used them at a vac-u-wash in...and their one heck of a machine... Chad Ann Arbor Michigan CLICK HERE TO GO TO programcomputer's LINK on Detroit Craigslist |

Ken, I've always found your computer image's to be awesome. They look so sweet I can't even tell you. I hope someone saves them( the real washer and dryer that is, not to mention these sweet pic's you create). I'm no longer in a place where I can do so ( save the big ones). If it was the case, I would have those and a Youngstown Dishwasher parked someplace. I feel bad that I cannot. Something about no major appliances are allowed sayeth my current contract with the apartment complex I'm currently residing in. You can have the smaller ones tho???? I REALLY want people to get a crack at these things . I found the Youngstown Dishwasher at one of my vacuum cleaner haunts. Craigslist obviously for the washer and dryer... One last thing... Sometime, in your travels, would it be too much to ask for a rendition in your super computerized graphics of a 1958 Westinghouse Laundromat set. The one that Lucy, Ethel and Betty Furness showed during the "Gala Fiesta" 1958 Westinghouse Commercial... That would be super... Chad |

Ken, Oh yeah....Zingerman's is a really EXCELLENT place to eat. Thier baked goods strangely defy my inbuilt rejection mechanisms, to refuse such wonderful things. IT's a very crowded enviornment usually being one of the buisiest restraunts in town. They have no smoking section now (frown), but I always say If I cannot go an hour or more without a smoke, I have far worse problems than I care to admit. Their pricing is shall I say on the medium high side for most dishes, and some feel their simply overpriced. BUt when you add it all up truly, you get a great deal.. Have you visited Ann Arbor beofre? Or have relatives/ friends in the area??? Chad Oh and P.S., I really do not have a pic of the Laundromat 58's aailable for you. There may be one around her on the forums, but I'm unaware of one that is current or what yo need. C. |

My childhood best friend's mother had this set. I remember them running every Saturday, they were just stunning with the lights under the panel, all the buttons and settings were so fanciful compared with our BOL GE set. She was one of the very few people I ever have known that used her Mini-Basket frequently.

I emailed and phoned this guy 9 or ten times, each time asking him for his address so I could pay him and get the machines. Each time I got a response, all he would do is repeat that he wanted COD and forget to give an address! The last response I got, three days before Thanksgiving, he tells me the machines have to be gone by Wednesday before the holiday, oh and yes, he forgets to include an address yet again. Does anyone know what happened to these machines? I still want them, but this guy must be related to the chunk that's demanding info from Robert.
