Has anyone ever refinished the inside of a dryer drum? My 56 Whirlpool dryer drum was painted inside and the paint has worn off in places. The paint has to be heat and wear resistant, otherwise I would have the body shop paint the drum. I did get an over the phone price to powder coat the drum. The quote was $150.00 to $200.00. I called Krylon Paint Company, and the rep. said they had nothing for this application. I guess I will do the powder coat, unless anyone else can tell me of a better way to go about doing this. Thank you, Rick |

Hey Rick, Whirlpool used to make a can of grey spray paint called flo-coat grey primer for bulkheads and drums. Part# is 350938. If it's still available, you can get through Sears or a parts house. Hope this helps!! John |

I have a Speed Queen dryer with galvanized drum which is rusting in spots. Any suggestions for this? |
